Central Regional Sales manager - HDR

AMETEK HDR Power Systems (NYSE: AME) is in the business of providing precise control of electrical power to help businesses grow and prosper. HDR Power Systems is a recognized worldwide leader in the industrial heating & regulating marketplace. Our products have extensive applications in the following industrial segments: glass, furnace, cutting, coatings, waste to energy, alternate energy and other applications requiring precise control of power for mission critical applications.

The position of Central Regional Sales Manager will require the candidate to actively promote, apply and sell power equipment to various large industrial customers. The region consists of the central region of the United States, requiring frequent travel within the region. The candidate will need to effectively target and visit customers in this region in a consultative sales role. The candidate will also be required to fully develop and implement a strategic and tactical plan for targeting sales and lead generation within the region. Growth in this region will be expected.

The Central Regional Sales Manager is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales plan by enhancing the existing representative channel and working closely with technology suppliers, consultants, A&E (architecture and engineering) and large industrial clients.

This position can be located in Central or Mid Western U.S.

Qualifications:

The Central Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for maintaining, growing and managing current and new customer relationships across the Central Region of the United States. Developing and executing sales strategy to grow sales territory. The successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), proven strategic planning skills, business acumen and sales aptitude, ability to partner across the organization to ensure customer needs are met, proven experience working with distribution channels, ability to work independently, must be willing to travel a minimum of 50-75%.

Experience:

The Central Regional Sales Manager must have a technology centric background that includes significant customer interaction with 5 - 7 years sales experience in the power industrial market.
Education:

B.S.E.E. from a recognized, fully accredited program is required.

Specific Responsibilities:

Maintain, grow and manage current and new customer relationships across the Western region of the United States
Develop and execute sales strategy to grow sales territory while maximizing sales and margins
Maintain up-to-date understanding of industry trends and products/services that effect target markets
Develop sales/marketing proposals/quotes for customers
Research, develop and maintain short and long-term sales plans
Develop and maintain effective network within the power controller and supplies industry
Develop and implement a tactical and strategic sales strategy for reaching the designated target.
Completely understand and apply our systems to customers' applications
Prepare schedule of visits within the region to current and new customers
Provide timely feedback concerning competitive and or changing market conditions
Maintain the current customer database with up-to-date information and notes detailing weekly events and opportunity advancement
Meet or exceed the yearly sales goals

AMETEK Prestolite Power is in the business of providing superior battery charging solutions. Prestolite Power designs, manufactures and distributes high quality industrial battery charges for the motive power industry

Design Engineer - Solidstate Controls

Qualifications:

The Design Engineer is responsible for managing multiple client projects from initial engineering/design through shipment. Duties will include design review of incoming engineering documents, design layout via AutoCAD, creation of bills of material and project coordination with HDR's manufacturing and test groups. This position will also directly interface with our client's engineering and sales groups to help facilitate product solutions.

Experience:

The Design Engineer must have a proven track record of successful project management. Electrical design experience utilizing AutoCAD is also required as well as strong time-management and communication skills. Individual must be a self starter.

Education:

Associates or Bachelor of Science degree in electrical or mechanical engineering and a minimum of 3-5 years in related industry/field experience is required. Prior design experience utilizing AutoCAD is required.

Specific Responsibilities:

This position is also responsible for product design and development responsibility for control circuits of switch mode, SCR, and Ferroresonant power sources ranging from 5kW to 30kW, and be the key contributor in the process of moving these designs from concept to production.

" Design of analog and digital control circuits
" Design of embedded hardware and software.
" Design and maintenance of PC based software
" Management of assigned projects from concept to production
" Securing required agency product approvals (UL,cUL, CE)
" Analyze technical and customer requirements, originate solutions and accomplish objectives in the most efficient and economical manner

Assembler

Position Description:

Assembles complex electronic assemblies and installs sub assemblies, such as panels, circuit boards and cabinets

Perform assembly tasks such as component insertion, component preparations, fastening, cabling, wiring, soldering, and clean up of completed components
Complete all paperwork in timely manner
Read assembly prints
Responsible for lugging and wiring transformers, component relocations, and minor sheet modifications

Requirements:
Ability to read assembly prints, handle heavy components and sub-assemblies, use large gauge wire and heavy luggers
Able to lift up to 50 pounds
Use power tools: wrenches, screwdrivers, soldering irons, wire strippers, cutters, terminal lug crimpers, drill motors, etc.

Stockroom Clerk

Position Description:

" Receives parts, including unloading of trucks, checking condition of shipment, and noting discrepancies in condition (damage) on bills of lading.
" Package outgoing parts orders and equipment shipments.
" Fills orders for quantity and type of material as indicated by sales orders.
" Responsible for correct forwarding of shipments as indicated on packing list and bill of lading, and processing of shipping documents after shipment has occurred.
" Maintains automated shipping records for small parcel shipments.
" Maintains orderly storage of materials, and fills requests for parts, also performs job pulls.
" Responsible for filling parts shortages upon their arrival.
" Initiates purchase requests, or blanket order releases for departmental supplies as required.
" Performs incoming material receiving functions including part identification, visual inspection for damage, and transferring to stockroom location.
" Performs/coordinates incoming inspection process on all "buyout" items.
" Perform other related duties as assigned.

Senior Development Engineer

Qualifications:

The Senior Development Engineer is an energetic, experienced professional who will work with members of the design and project teams to create power supply systems and components for SCI products.

Experience:

The Senior Development Engineer must have a technology centric background that includes significant customer interaction. A minimum of 5 - 7 years experience as high power electronics (>10kVA) is required. The candidate must possess experience with power electronics, analog and digital circuits, and an understanding of UPS's, strong system knowledge to develop new product and systems, high intellect, inquisitive personality, leadership potential, and desire to introduce new concepts and methods to the business are essential. The candidate must also possess strong project management, communication, interpersonal, and team leadership skills and ability to work closely with other team members to meet objectives and deadlines and have familiarity of safety, UL, and IEC standards and CE.

Education:

B.S.E.E., B.S.M.E. or B.S.B.A from a recognized, fully accredited program is required, an MSEE a plus.

Specific Responsibilities:

Interact with members of design and project team to design electrical components and systems for AMETEK products.
Support product lines from initial concept through production.
Design and develop electronic circuits and software for designs using microprocessors, FPGA's and analog circuits.
Prepare or direct construction and testing of prototypes or components to evaluate design concepts.
Create design specifications and test procedures for both hardware and software.
Contribute to technical manuals and other engineering software.
Prepare sufficient documentation to implement product designs into manufacturing within the time budget constraints of the project, including the development of assemblies, test procedures, Bills of Material and drawings.
Collaborate with other team members, share information and resources, coordinate communication, and lead cross-functional teams, as needed, to ensure overall excellent problem resolution.
Assist other internal departments (Test, Service, Sales) to ensure products conform to customer requirements.
